About the Attorney
Eric Montrose is a trial attorney dedicated to protecting the rights of the injured and the accused across the Southwest. Licensed in Texas, New Mexico, and California, he brings a broad understanding to every case he handles.
Before practicing on his own, Eric worked for 8 years with a prominent defense firm and learned from an inside perspective all the tactics and strategies insurance companies use in handling claims. He has taken over 500 depositions and tried 24 cases in his career and is eager to put this knowledge and experience to work for you. His approach is built on preparation, persistence, and clear communication—the same qualities that juries and judges respect in the courtroom.
A lifelong advocate for fairness, Eric believes every client deserves honest guidance and a strong voice in the legal process. Whether fighting insurance companies after a catastrophic crash or challenging the government’s evidence in a criminal prosecution, he treats each case as if it were his own.
A fourth generation El Pasoan, Eric was born and raised in the Sun City before earning a BBA in accounting from Baylor University in 2014 and a JD from Baylor Law School in 2017. He loves living and working back in his home town and serving the people of our beautiful community.
When not practicing law, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah, his dog Holly, playing chess, watching football, and cheering on his beloved Baylor Bears.
